Deauna and David's Maymont Park Engagement Photos are so dreamy!
David and Deauna met through a group of mutual friends from high school and didn't start dating until they were in college. These two were meant to be together and have such sweet personalities.
It was an overcast day with the threat of storms, but the weather gave us visionary vibes and gorgeous tones, and the rain waited until we’d left the park. Locations for your engagement session can be intimidating to find, but that's why I'm here! There is nothing more special than incorporating a place that means something to the two of you. Richmond has so many great spots for engagement photos, but Maymont Park is one of my favorites!
There are many beautiful backdrops at Maymont Park. The Italian Garden includes incredible flowers, gazebos, and stonework, so we started Deauna and David's session in this area. They had two outfits for their session, with one being dressy and the other being more casual.
Both Deauna and David were fantastic in front of the camera. We played around with different poses while they were in both outfits, but I particularly loved how their casual outfits allowed them to be more playful while their dressier outfits brought out more romantic poses. Deauna brought along a fashionable hat to incorporate into her look, and it added an adorable touch to their images.
In the midst of taking their pictures, we noticed a family of five deer meander through the park. I've seen deer here before, but I am always excited when I get to take pictures with them in the background.
These two are getting married at Ashton Creek Vineyard. It will be a beautiful wedding, and we are so looking forward to being a part of it.
